SIDE QUESTS
I stay busy with creative projects – some voiceover, branding, chalk/acrylic art, and cosplay.
BRANDING – Modern Moon
In 2022, a dear friend asked me to develop the branding and design for her soon-to-open Pittsburgh acupuncture clinic. Together, we developed the logo, color palette, website, style guide, and signage. In a world that’s increasingly digital, it was so rewarding to watch it come together in a real, physical space; a storefront sign of the logo, freshly printed business cards, a cleanly installed window decal. Visiting it in person was really special, and I feel lucky to have played a small part in her growing business.
VOICEOVER
My unplanned voiceover “career” began in grad school when I narrated a few project films. (I was paid in PBRs). Since then, I’ve done loads of scratch tracks on real WIP ads/sizzle films, and even landed an actual VO gig for Adobe – recorded on my laptop, inside a literal closet. Still don’t have a fancy setup, but hey… the closet worked once.
VIRAL MOMENT
While working at Deutsch NY, we were tasked to make 3 videos with a group of student visitors, and “go viral” on TikTok. After filming two, I decided to just take them out for milkshakes instead. That’s when this moment happened. Within minutes of posting, it had thousands of views, eventually racking up to 96.8K. A while later, MTV’s Ridiculousness reached out about using the clip and actually aired it on one of their episodes. New York is really something.
